Elders
As churches began in the Bible, teams of wise, seasoned leaders were formed to help guide and direct each church. This group of “elders” served by leading in ministry, discerning wise next steps, praying with the hurting, helping people through conflict, and ensuring the church was following God whole-heartedly. This model of leadership is outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9 to set up a God-honoring and effective way of leading the church to be and do all God has in mind.
The Elders of Canyon Ridge do these same things today. The elders work together to establish the values, missions, and policies for Canyon Ridge and then partner together with the staff and operations teams to set goals for reaching the people of Las Vegas.
