Being a Foster Parent is a tremendous responsibility, and it can be difficult to find regular respite care. On the third Friday of every month, from 6p – 9p Canyon Ridge Christian Church would like to serve the foster parents of our community by providing free respite care. During that time, your children and your foster children will have a fun, safe, and nurturing time so that you can take some time to rest, catch a movie, go out with your spouse, and more! Space is limited to a first-come, first-serve basis.

* Open for children ages birth – 5th grade.

* For all foster caregivers (licensed, unlicensed, relative, fictive kin)

Canyon Ridge is teaming up with the Department of Family Services to provide backpacks for foster kids around Las Vegas until July 24! This is your chance to impact children in the community and start their year off right! Then, stop by on July 25 and help get backpacks ready for DFS and their upcoming backpack distribution day.

Discover practical, tangible help, resources, and tools for caring for your children impacted by life’s challenges. Whether you are a parent, caregiver, church, ministry, or organizational leader seeking to support families in your community better, this is for you.

Find out how you can connect with children experiencing a difficult time and help them heal and become all God desires them to be. The Hope for the Journey Conference is a one-day conference led by the TCU Institute for Child Development for anyone who helps children from hard places find a better life.

*Cost: $20 for regular attendees
